What's the difference between other DJ's and me?

Here are a few questions I get asked by potential clients:

Is it that important getting the right DJ to make sure your wedding or special occasion is a success?

Unbelievably important: It’s the main focus for most of the event. No matter how lavish or low key your special occasion is if the DJ fails so does your evening! It’s the one thing that will guarantee a successful day or night. You can’t afford to get it wrong, it makes sense to pay for an experienced DJ that has proven time and time again that he knows how to work the crowd and make your event or occasion something your guests will talk about long after the party is over. The wrong DJ will have people talking but for all the wrong reasons – I have seen it myself so many times.

Ok so you are a professional DJ with years of experience, you provide an all inclusive package that includes lights and even another back up DJ for the night – that sounds really expensive?

Wedding DJNot if you compare it with what you spend on other things for your big day. I’m about the same as you would pay for a professionally made wedding cake. I’m about the same as a chocolate fountain or about five minutes of fireworks. People spend more on flowers, balloons or even the invites, and then they tell me they only have a small budget for the DJ! You can save money on all these things I have mentioned and no one will notice, but if you cut it from your DJ budget they most certainly will. I am not the cheapest DJ out there but I am nowhere near the most expensive either. I have not listed my prices on this website because I don’t have a hard and fast price. It depends on the time of year, the amount of travelling involved and the hours required. I want you to call me and after we talk I know you will be happy to with my price and then book me and I know you will be assured that your party is going to be the best you have ever been to.

I know I can make your wedding or other special occasion something really memorable l but how can I convince someone that has never seen my work? Because I don’t work in pubs or clubs anymore, my work tends to be at private functions so it’s hard to arrange for potential clients to see me working. The only thing I can do is showcase my testimonials from past work plus let my potential clients find out a little about me from this website. Hopefully that’s enough to convince you that I’m the right man for the job or at the very least it will make you pick up the telephone and talk to me.  I want your wedding or party to be the best ever because that’s how I keep so busy, being the best!

Your company name is The Best DJ in Town – that’s a bold statement, how can you back that up?

It is a bold name I know, and a bit tongue in cheek, but hopefully it’s memorable.
I also want people realize there are good DJ’s and bad ones and the rest are somewhere in between. I know the service I provide is second to none and I have never had a client dispute this name after a function. They all tend to agree with it! Typically many private and business clients spend thousands, often many thousands of pounds on a wedding or special occasion. Imagine it failing simply because the cheap DJ didn’t know how do his job properly and simply wasn’t up to the task.

DJ PartyI’m passionate about what I do. Not just the music but the business side of delivering everything you want from you big day or event. I have worked as a professional DJ for over ten years at some amazing venues. Any client that books me is guaranteed the best possible job every time. Do I really think I am The Best DJ in Town?  Well compared to many other DJs I think I’m pretty damn close!

How far in advance should someone book your services?

You should book as soon as you have a date set. As I have said I am the only DJ. I don’t have a stable of DJs so once a date is booked that’s it, it’s gone. To avoid disappointment book as soon as possible. I have clients who book a year or two in advance to make sure they get me.  I have been doing this for over ten years and a lot of my customers re book and refer me to others so I am lucky enough to be busy throughout the year. That said I do get the odd spare night or a cancellation so it doesn’t hurt to call even at short notice.  If I am available and you wish to book I will send you a contract, sign it and return with a small deposit and your booked!
